Junko Furuta was a young girl born on January 18, 1971, in Misato, Saitama, Japan. She was a bright and ambitious student with dreams of becoming a journalist. But unfortunately, her life took a tragic turn in November 1988, when she crossed paths with a group of individuals who would forever change both her life and fate.
On November 25, 1988, at the age of 17, Junko Furuta was kidnapped by four young men: Hiroshi Miyano, Jo Kamisaku, Shinji Minato, and Yasushi Watanabe. They took her to a house in the Ayase district of Tokyo, where they held her against her will for a terrible 40 -44 days and gang-raped her until she wasn't dying. Those 44 days were worst than hell for her. Even my hands are shaking when I'm writing this blog article.
During her captivity, Junko Furuta endured relentless physical and sexual abuse. She was subjected to unimaginable acts of violence and cruelty, including beatings, burns, and repeated rapes. Her captors inflicted severe injuries on her body, causing immense pain and suffering. Not even this cruelty stops here friends, even they would have left her n***d like this in the winter season. She was helpless and strengthless.
Those 44 days of her life were worst than hell. Junko Furuta was nothing but a sexual pleasure and entertainment tool for them. She was even deprived of basic needs, such as food and water and often forced to consume insects or her own urine. Not only this, but they burn her face and her entire body with wax. They used to punch her and tortured her brutally for 44 days like this until she wasn't dead.
On January 4, 1989, when her body could no longer withstand the relentless abuse she passed away. They were no longer interested in her body because due to continuous torture, she wasn't looking attractive and beautiful anymore. She lost her life because of those heartless murderers. Her kidnappers, realizing the gravity of their crimes, attempted to dispose of her body by encasing it in concrete. But their attempts to cover up the evidence were ultimately thwarted when their actions attracted the attention of the authorities on this way.

However, two police officers arrived at the house where those people hostage that girl but they didn't take action at that time and returned from the outside of that house. If they had taken any action at that time and not been negligent, they could have saved Junko Furuta. Out of 100 members of that gangster group, only 4 members could be arrested and those two police officers were suspended for their negligence from their posts.
Following their arrest, the four members of that gangster group faced trial for their unforgivable acts. Their heinous crimes shocked the nation, and the trial attracted the media's attention on this way. The perpetrators were convicted, with Hiroshi Miyano receiving the harshest sentence of 20 years in prison. Jo Kamisaku, who played a prominent role in the torture, received a slightly shorter sentence. In the name of Junku Furuta the Junko Furuta Park was built in Japan.
